7th grade Social Studies- As part of their unit covering how governments function, the 7th graders were able to chat with District 42 Senator Mike Jacobson on September 18. Senator Jacobson represents Wallace in the Nebraska State Legislature. Senator Jacobson was able to share how the Legislature works with the students, and the students were able to ask him several questions about the work he does in Lincoln. The 7th graders thank Senator Jacobson for taking the time to meet with them.

Freshman created a fantastic Homecoming wall. Ready for a fun week of activities.

Chemistry students built and modeled Rutherford's Gold Foil experiment. Using only a Hula-hoop, styrofoam ball, string , and ping pong balls. They then had to discuss the validity of using physical models in science.
