
The JH track meet scheduled for tomorrow (4/13) at Hitchcock County has been CANCELLED due to weather. There will be no makeup date.

Wallace had a very successful state convention and with a combination of state champ teams, chapter awards, and CDE successes we have a lot to celebrate. The Ag Mechanics team consisting of Jesson McClintock (purple) Chase Martin (blue) Matthew Lungrin (red) and Ryan Sheets (red) placed 10th place overall. Your Agriscience team of Ashley Robertson (purple) Kendall McClintock (blue) Ryleigh Hanson (red) and Mason Messersmith (white) placed 16th overall. Your Natural Resource team of Ainsley Strawder (purple) Riley Strawder (blue) Reagan Pelster (red) and Jesson McClintock placed 20th overall. The Floriculture team of Skyler Kuhlman (blue) Morgan Lungrin (white) Anna Vote (white) and Brooke Bryant took home 20th place. Food Science got 16th place with Kendyl Flaming (purple) Dajana Garrison (blue) and Karlie Finley and Morgan Lungrin. The Wallace Livestock Management team took home 4th place the team consisted of Denay Pelster, Camden McConnell, Kolton Hager, Trey Robertson and Brylie Robinson they received 1st place in swine and 2nd in beef. In the competition of Nursery Landscape Morgan Lungrin and Emma Matson received reds Brooke Bryant and Jasmin Gardner also competed. The Vet Science team of Chase Martin (blue) Ainsley Stawder, Denay Pelster and Kolton Hager took home 16th place. The welding team of Alec Messersmith, Matthew Lungrin, Jesus Gomez, and Kyler Flaming also placed very well. The Conduct of Chapter Meeting team of Mason Messersmith, Ashley Robertson, Ryleigh Hanson, Mallory Mcconnell, Jason Fischer, and Devin Giesselmann got a silver plaque.
Wallace also received many awards at convention as well. Morgan Lungrin, Denay Pelster and Ainsley Strawder all received their state degrees. Mrs. Kemp received the Advisor of the year award and got to take home $1,000 for our chapter. We received the NIFA Governor's Excellence award along with $2,500 and The Farm Bureau Connecting Chapters Award for teaching younger students about agriculture and advocating about food sources. Wallace will be having their annual FFA banquet April 25th! Congratulations Wallace FFA.

This morning Mariah Gardner signed with North Platte Community College to further her athletic career in basketball . Congratulations to Mariah!

Wallace track team will participate in the Tri-State invitational in Chappell on Tuesday, April 5. Field events begin at 10:00CT. Please note that spectators are asked to stay off of the infield during running events. Admission will be charged: $5 adults/ $4 students. #GoCats!
